Glossop and District Model Railway Club The GDMRC is a small club of around a dozen active members. We meet on Tuesday evenings above the Wood Street Working Men's Club on Wood Street [SK13 8NL] from around 8.30pm. All are welcome to come along and see what we get up to. Our aim is to cover all aspects of railway modelling and railways in general. So that people can get used to us, they can have a trial period and then if they decide to join us on a more permanent footing they can apply to join and if accepted they will be welcome. Once having joined then an annual membership is payable with a reduced payment for members under 14. We organise an annual exhibition when we show our layouts to the public along with layouts from outside the club. We also take club layouts and members' layouts to exhibit at other clubs' shows throughout the region.
