Glossop's talking newspaper for the visually-impaired Newsdisk is a FREE weekly CD digest of Glossopdale news from the Glossop Advertiser and Glossop Chronicle. It covers Glossop, Padfield, Hadfield, Tintwistle, Gamesley, Chisworth and Charlesworth. If you can't read small print easily – or if you know someone who can't – this FREE service is ideal. A quality CD comes in the post once a week. The listener simply pops the envelope back in the post, FREE, in order to receive next week's news. To find out more call David Andrew on 01457 869566. Glossop Talking Newspaper, established 21 years ago, is operated by skilled volunteers and is funded entirely by voluntary donations.
